Celebration of Blood Stripe Brewing becoming official
Richard Deibler and Ronnie Myers served together in the United States Marine Corps as Helicopter Door Gunner’s on the UH-1N and UH-1Y Huey. Richard and Ronnie are both Combat Veterans from Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom serving multiple combat tours and serving on multiple Marine Expeditionary Units (MEU) supporting operations in the Persian Gulf and in the Asia Pacific area of Operations serving from Okinawa, Japan. After retirement from the Marine Corps Ronnie moved back to East Tennessee and Richard soon followed after his retirement. After several years of working in Aviation both Richard & Ronnie wanted to chase their dreams of opening a Brewery (Richard) and Distillery (Ronnie) so they both attended The Brewing and Distilling Center (BDC) in Knoxville,TN. While attending The Brewing and Distilling Center Richard and Ronnie met classmate Matt McNeilly who also worked in Aviation as an aircraft mechanic which sparked a friendship. Matt is also from East Tennessee and his love for good beer sparked when his son Brandon introduced him to the craft beer world and ultimately gave Matt the idea to start his own brewery. Upon completion of the Fall class of 2022 Richard and Ronnie started Blood Stripe Brewing and decided to combine forces with Matt to start a brewing company as soon as possible. Their combined love and passion for superior craft beer inspired them to chase their dreams of owning a locally owned/operated brewery acting as brew masters also running the business and marketing operations.
